Key Purpose of the Job
Assist the Tiger Conservation Project Manager in coordinating the Tiger Protection and Patrol Units (TPPUs) operating in ZSL Indonesia’s areas of operation (Berbak & Sembilang National Parks and the Dangku Wildlife Reserve) and the Human Tiger Conflict (HTC) Teams operating across the Berbak, Sembilang and Dangku landscapes. read more

Seorang mahasiswi S3 dari Universitas Virginia Tech akan melakukan penelitian disertasi tentang harimau Sumatera (Panthera tigris sumatrae) di Propinsi Riau. Penelitian ini terselenggara atas kerja sama dengan Fakultas Kehutanan UGM dan WWF – Indonesia Program Riau. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi dan perpindahan harimau dengan pendekatan identifikasi DNA dari sampel kotoran satwa tersebut sebagai data utama.
